The e-nautia privacy policy assembles elements built into the terms of use of the site and common practices.

Preliminary definitions
Confidentiality is defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as "ensuring that information is accessible only to those authorized to have access".
Personally identifiable information is information that allows to directly or indirectly identify you.

Digital identity
When you register, only your "login" identifier, your pseudo and your avatar are public information. Afterward, you have the possibility to enrich your profile, to keep private some information, to share with your contacts or to make public. You have anytime the opportunity to change or delete immediately data constituting your profile or your digital identity.

Communication services
e-nautia provides many communication services. Some are private, such as e-mails, private messages between members and SMS. For this services, e-nautia imposes confidentiality on its infrastructure. Moreover, contrary to other services, e-nautia does not insert advertising links in your e-mails, does not use the content of your e-mails to display targeted advertisements and does not use your phone numbers or other coordonates to send you advertising without your consent.
Other communication services are public, like messages on forums, articles or comments on spaces. Nevertheless, you can delete your messages (online or by asking support), like those ones publicated on your space and you can forbid message publication on your space.

Virtual disk
e-nautia offers you to store files online through its "virtual disk" service. This service provides several levels of sharing from public to private, through a restricted share. When directories and files are private, they are only accessible via your account. Of course, this is no longer true if you allow some members to access them or if you make them public.

Data processing
Like many Websites, e-nautia uses several third-party providers to ensure its right functioning, its online presence and to build its infrastructure. e-nautia only chooses trusted and recognized companies. Anyway, e-nautia does not share your private information with this companies unless the right functionning of a service requires it (e.g. cell phone number to telecom operator for SMS sending). In this cases only strictly necessary information are transmitted, in accordance with our privacy policy.

Use of cookies and sessions
A cookie is a little text file stored on your hard drive by your browser by request of the Websites when you visit them. This function is essential to open and to use an account on e-nautia. It allows us to ensure that the session data is sent to the right addressee.
On the other hand, when you try to log in, the Website asks you to keep the session active on your computer. By using this option, your login associated with a special key is stored in a cookie to automate the session opening each time you visit e-nautia. This cookie is automatically destroyed after one month or if you use the Sign out function (by clicking on the top-hand corner on any page). If in error you log in with keeping the session active on a public computer and you forget to sign out, all you have to do is log in on another computer to invalidate the key the next opening of the browser.
If you do not keep the session active on your computer, all you have to do is close the browser to sign out.
e-nautia use also another cookie to store your iiihA address on the webmail. This cookie is destroyed in the same way as the session cookie.
e-nautia can use other cookies (e.g. for Website color and language personalization), but doesn't store other personal information into them.
On some pages, e-nautia displays elements from other Websites. Therefore, it is possible that cookies for this websites are created by these Websites. The use of such cookies is in accordance with the privacy policy of these Websites. If your browser blocks third-party cookies, it does not change in anyway the functionning of e-nautia.

Safety of communication
e-nautia opens the possibility of encrypting communications between your computer and the Website by using the HTTPS protocol. Encryption is also available on all ports open to the e-nauts (FTP, iMap, POP3, SMTP…).
To a great extent, for your safety on the Internet, make sure that you are using a neat, updated and protected by an anti-virus software computer. e-nautia puts at your disposal a special guide in order to help you.

Safety of stored data
e-nautia implements all necessary security measures to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your data. These measures are also physical. Thus, the main e-nautia infrastructure takes place in one of the data centers of the first European hosting company. This implies constant monitoring, anti-theft and firefighting systems, emergency power, etc.

Disclosure of private data
Your private data is not intended to leave e-nautia, except in the following cases:
· when the functioning of a service requires it,
· when you have given us your consent,
· when we get evidence of an illicit use and/or a violation of the terms of use made by your account,
· when we receive an injunction from a judicial or administrative authority empowered by law.
